Phenomenon: hanging

Phenomenon: cracking

Too much curing agent is used and the mix is improper. If the paint is too thick, the surface will dry but the inner layer will not. The bottom layer is dirty, improperly handled, and left for a long time after sanding. Matching base and topcoat.

The paint was not fully stirred before use, and the color of the upper layer was less paint. Mix in required proportions and stir thoroughly. Each coating film should not be too thick. Treat the substrate well and do not respray for a long time. The primer and topcoat should match. The paint must be thoroughly stirred before application.

 

Appearance: orange peel

Too much or too little hardener added. Improper diluent ratio. The spraying pressure is too high or the nozzle is too close to the object surface. Application temperature is too high or too low.

Add curing agent in proportion. Control the dilution ratio. The incentives should not be too high and the distance should not be too close. Pay attention to the construction temperature.

 

Phenomenon: pinhole

Add too much curing agent and the construction clay will be too large. The ambient temperature is too high. The spray paint pressure is too high and the time between layers is not enough. The nozzle pressure is too high, the diameter is too small, and the distance to the object surface is too close.

solution:

The paint was left for too short a time after mixing. Adjust the construction viscosity and master the paint ratio. When the temperature is high in summer, the solid agent should be reduced and thinner should be added. Spray in two passes and reapply after the surface is dry. Choose an appropriate caliber, the intensity should not exceed 4kg/cm, and the spraying distance should not exceed 625px. Stir evenly and let it sit for 10-20 minutes before filtering.

 

Phenomenon: Bubbles

The moisture content of the material surface is high and the temperature is high. There is moisture in the air compressor or pipes. The putty does not seal well to the object surface. The setting time after adding the curing agent is too short.

solution:

Keep your face dry and avoid exposure to sunlight. Separate using oil-water separator. Choose good quality putty. It is advisable to leave it for 10-20 minutes, spray twice, and reapply after drying.

 

Phenomenon: partial loss of light

Insufficient dilution will cause the paint to dry too quickly and the paint film will be too thick. Use unmatched diluent. The base surface is rough and uneven. The ambient temperature of application I is too low and the humidity is too high.

solution:

Control the paint film thickness according to the correct proportion. Increase the dilution ratio in summer. Smooth the base surface and sand the primer. Ensure that the temperature and humidity of the construction site meet the requirements.

 

Phenomenon: granulation

Mixed with impurities. Change to a different type of paint before cleaning the spray gun. The nozzle pressure is too large, the diameter is too small, and the distance from the object surface is too far. The paint has been left too long with thinner added. Insufficient mixing and resting.

solution:

Keep the application area clean. Different types of paint cannot be mixed. Choose an appropriate caliber, the spraying distance should not exceed 25mm, the placement time should not be too long, and the dilution should not be excessive. Stir well and let sit.
